To the best of our knowledge the very first Steptoe & Son appreciation society started in February 1992 with the very first issue of 'Totting Times' and was produced by then President Lisa Sargent.
Lisa did a fantastic job and produced 25 society magazines dating from February 1992 to November 1997.

In 1997 the society unfortunately closed its doors for a short while until Mark Pearson re-started the society in June 1999 with the release of the 'Totting Times' magazine starting again as issue.1
In March 2000 with magazine issue 4, the society magazine was re-named "The Rag 'n' Bone".
The latest society produced 11 fantastic magazines that were professionally produced as high quality booklets with the
help of Mike Hill's desktop publishing skills.

Unfortunately after 11 high quality magazines dating from June 1999 to Summer 2002 the society magazine ended.
In December 2002 the society records were passed over to Ron Bean (www.steptoe-and-son.com) to take over the society. It was agreed that the society would become 99% internet based as Ron Bean's skills were internet related.

Its a shame there is no longer a society magazine but having an internet based society website gives the opportunity
for everyone to get involved, the message board is open all year round and the website can be updated with news and additions for every steptoe fan to view immediately online 365 days of the year and at any time.
This society magazine section contains over 836 pages!! - You can view every single magazine page online!!
There is NO membership fee!, just visit, enjoy and keep the memory of Steptoe & Son alive!
